Which case does what
lowercase is the fix for caps-lock accidents. Title Case capitalizes the principal words of a headline. Sentence case capitalizes the first letter after each sentence break - the safest reset for body copy. tOGGLE cASE inverts whatever you had, mostly for fun.
The converter handles accents and non-Latin scripts where JavaScript's built-in methods differ; for mixed-language text, check the result once before shipping.
Fixing the case is step zero. If the text itself needs work, the grammar checker and the article rewriter are the next stops - and when it's published, see what the AI engines say about your brand.
How to convert all caps to lowercase
Three clicks: paste your text into the box above, press the lowercase button, and copy the result. Punctuation, numbers, and line breaks stay exactly where they were; only the letters change. The rest of the button row covers the cases people switch to once the shouting is gone.
When a case converter saves you time
- Emails, support tickets, and chat messages typed with caps lock on
- Spreadsheet and CSV text you want in sentence case before an import
- Headlines and button labels that need Title Case on the fly
- Social bios where lowercase reads better than shouting
Uppercase to lowercase FAQ
How do I change a whole document from uppercase to lowercase?
Paste the text into the box, press lowercase, then copy the result back into your document. Styling like bold and lists does not survive the trip, because the converter works on plain text, so re-apply any formatting afterward.
Is there a character limit?
The box accepts up to 20,000 characters, enough for long emails or a full chapter. Very large files are easier in batches, which also keeps the paste and copy step practical.
Does converting case change accents or symbols?
No. Letters take their normal uppercase or lowercase form, including accented characters like E with an accent to e. Numbers, punctuation, and emoji pass through untouched.
Can I convert lowercase to uppercase too?
Yes. The uppercase button reverses it, Title Case capitalizes the principal words for headlines, Sentence case resets each sentence to a capital first letter, and tOGGLE cASE inverts whatever casing you already have.
