Sonarvue ("Sonarvue", "we", "us") helps you see how AI answer engines describe and cite your brand. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that is how privacy should read.
What we collect
- Account information. Your name, work email, company, and the brands and prompts you ask us to monitor.
- Usage data. Standard product and analytics data - pages viewed, features used, device and browser, and aggregate metrics - so we can run and improve the service.
- Answer-engine data. The public answers that AI engines return for the prompts you configure. This is public output about your brand and category; it is the product.
- Google Search Console data. If you choose to connect Google Search Console, we receive the verified properties and read-only Search Analytics data you authorize, including queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position.
- Billing details. Handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
What we do not collect
Sonarvue does not install a tracking tag on your website and does not access your customers' data. The optional Google Search Console connection is read-only and cannot change your website, Search Console properties, or settings.
How we use Google Search Console data
We use authorized Search Console data to show organic search performance and identify keyword and content opportunities. Sonarvue compares search demand and current position with AI-answer visibility so your workspace can prioritize the pages and buyer questions most likely to matter.
Access and refresh tokens are encrypted and stored server-side for the connected workspace. Search performance snapshots are kept with that workspace so reports can show change over time. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
You can revoke Sonarvue's access from your Google Account at any time. Revoking access stops future synchronization. To request deletion of stored Search Console data, email hello@sonarvue.com.
Sonarvue's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use it
- To provide the service: run your prompts, score answers, and send alerts.
- To analyze connected Search Console performance and generate keyword and content recommendations.
- To operate, secure, and improve the product.
- To communicate with you about your account and important changes.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers (hosting, analytics, payments, email) needed to run Sonarvue, each bound to protect it.
Data retention
We keep account and monitoring data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to meet legal and operational needs. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@sonarvue.com and we will respond promptly.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a minimal set of analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data as carefully as we would our own.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
