What it exposes
The MCP server is a read-first surface over your stored Sonarvue data. The 26 tools cover visibility evidence, prompt results, competitors, citations, market signals, Search Console performance, keyword opportunities, and recommended actions.
In practice that means an assistant can answer questions like "which competitors appeared in this week's answers", "which prompts did we lose", or "what should we fix first", using your account rather than guessing. Read tools use your stored data only.
Writes are guarded
Write tools - adding prompts, updating listening keywords, creating strategy tasks - require a dry run first, an explicit confirmation, and an eligible plan. They never run silently, and they never start a monitoring cycle on their own.
