White-label AI SEO software for agencies

What agencies rebrand, what breaks client trust, what it costs — and an honest account of what Sonarvue offers today.

We make Sonarvue, and Sonarvue does not offer full platform white-labeling yet. This page explains the white-label market the way we would want it explained to us: what the category promises, what actually breaks trust, what each tool rebrands, and where our gap is. Every competitor fact comes from the vendor’s own public pages.

The shift that created this market

Two things changed at once. First, buyers moved part of their search into answer engines: people now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI answers which vendor, agency, or platform to pick, and the shortlist those tools return is small. Second, agencies realised that this new layer of visibility — share of voice inside an answer — is a service they can sell, but not one they can all build.

So a category exists for software an agency can put its own name on: track the buyer prompts, monitor brand position and citations in AI answers, and present the results to clients as the agency’s own reporting. That is white-label AI SEO software. The question is not whether it exists — it does — but how deep each tool’s rebranding actually goes, and what quietly leaks the vendor’s name back to your client.

What to look for in a white-label AI visibility tool

Before the tools, the tests. Four things decide whether a white-label programme is usable, and one thing decides whether it will keep working.

Branding depth. There is a hierarchy: logo-swap on reports, then a branded subdomain, then your own domain on the portal, then email and API rebranded too. The most common gap is the domain — a portal that still lives on vendor.ai and a login page with the vendor’s logo meets every client screen-share.

Email and footer leaks. One agency-side guide on white-label reporting lists the leak points in one sentence: "the URL, the sender address, the login page, and the PDF footer." Check every client-facing message and export for the vendor name and a "powered by" line before you promise rebranding.

Client separation. If all clients live in one space — shared prompts, shared competitor sets, shared action queues — a screenshot from client A can contain client B. You need a workspace per client, view-only client access restricted to their own charts, and separate billing if possible.

Reporting and price control. Reports should carry your logo, colours, and (ideally) your fonts, without a vendor footer, and you should set the client price yourself. The strongest tell of a real white-label programme is a vendor that does not publish partner pricing and does not contact your clients at all.

What breaks client trust

Agencies that run white-label operations name the same four failures, and none of them is a feature gap:

  1. The platform name in the footer. A branded PDF that keeps a "Powered by [vendor]" footer does the opposite of white-labeling. One white-label tool markets itself against exactly this: rather than showing "Powered by Tool Name", clients see only the agency’s identity.
  2. The vendor in the sender and the login. Invitations, alerts, and scheduled reports sent from the vendor’s mail domain, and a sign-in page with the vendor’s logo, undo the brand swap every time the client receives one.
  3. Client data in shared surfaces. Separate environments per client are the reason agencies ask for "unlimited workspace management". If the demo, benchmarks, or action queue mix brands, the agency’s advantage — knowing each client’s competitive gap — leaks.
  4. The client checking the source. Any client can run their own prompt in ChatGPT. If the tool’s story diverges from what the client sees for themselves, the retainer, not the software, is at risk. Evidence-grade reporting — the exact answer, the cited sources, the change after the work — is what survives that check.

Quick comparison: 8 AI visibility tools and their white-label depth

Eight tools agencies shortlist for AI visibility work, with what each can rebrand, read from each vendor’s own pages. Where we could not find a white-label capability, we say "none found" rather than guess.

The eight tools, one section each

LLM Pulse. The most complete white-label programme in AI visibility, and the one that made the category visible. Three tiers: a branded subdomain (logo, colours, branded notifications — but the address still includes llmpulse.ai and account emails come from them), a full white label on your own domain with rebranded email and even API keys under your prefix, and embedded dashboards for JWT-signed embeds. The limits are stated plainly: invite-only portals, support stays with the agency, and "you control the branding, not the product" — metrics and scores cannot be renamed. The full tier is sold through a conversation, not checkout.

Peec AI. Strong multi-model client reporting with a dedicated agency programme: free pitch projects for prospects, consolidated billing, client seats, and view-only dashboards "limited to the charts you choose". What it does not (on its available pages) offer is the rebrand layer: no custom domain, no brand removal. You share their dashboard with your branding limited to what the charts carry.

Otterly.ai. The budget monitor. Agency extras on Standard and Premium: more prompts, unlimited workspace management with separate environments per client, pitch workspaces, one invoice, and — the white-label piece — "custom reports via Google Looker Studio with your branding". That solves the report layer, not the platform: the workspace your clients log into is still Otterly’s.

Profound. Enterprise AI visibility: broad engine coverage, brand analytics, sales-led procurement. No white-label programme appears on its product or pricing pages. If your white-label requirement is the deciding line, it is not answered there.

Scrunch AI. Core plan $250/mo; enterprise custom with nine LLMs and SSO. For agencies it sells pitch environments and multi-client workspaces, and a genuinely interesting route: the API. "API-first (go headless): plug into your systems, power your own dashboards, or fully white-label outputs for clients." That is white-labeling at the engineering level — you need developers, and Scrunch does not offer a branded portal product.

AthenaHQ. Consumer-friendly entry (a free tier, then $295/mo) with an enterprise tier that lists access controls. No white-label offering found in their public materials.

Rankscale. Credit-based monitoring across many engines with an agency-styled Growth tier: client discounts and a partner-agency directory. Their roadmap timeline mentioned "whitelabel solutions" in a June 2025 entry, but no self-serve white-label product is live on their site today.

Sonarvue. Our honest entry: separate brand workspaces per client with their own category, competitors, prompts, and action queue; multi-brand reporting; the evidence trail — the exact answer, cited sources, brand position, and the re-probe after the work — designed to be shown to clients; publishing is approval-gated. Starter ($99/mo) is written for "agencies running the full stack across client brands". What we do not offer: a rebranded domain, logo removal, or your SMTP. If the white-label layer itself is the product you are buying, LLM Pulse’s Enterprise tier is the current honest answer in this table.

The pricing/rebrand checklist

Run this before you commit, and again before your first client call:

  1. Domain test. Can the client reach the workspace on your domain? CNAME plus auto-SSL, or at minimum a subdomain with no vendor string in it.
  2. Sender test. Which address sends invitations, alerts, and scheduled reports? Vendor domain = leak.
  3. Login test. Screenshot the sign-in page. Is it your brand?
  4. Footer test. Search every export and email template for "powered by".
  5. Separation test. One workspace per client, view-only client seats, no shared prompt or competitor sets between clients.
  6. Report test. Can you produce the deliverable with your logo, colours, and fonts — and is the answer citation-grade (source, position, date) rather than a score alone?
  7. Price test. You set the client price; the vendor never ships invoices with your client’s name on them. One bill for you, not per-client vendor invoices.
  8. Scope test. Ask what you cannot change. Scores, metric names, and data methodology are usually fixed — know it before a client asks.
  9. Exit test. If you leave in six months, can you export the evidence trail and the prompt history?

What agencies charge. Published ranges put AI-visibility monitoring software alone at roughly $20–$500/mo per client as a line item, and full AEO/GEO retainers at $2,000–$10,000/mo for most B2B engagements — commonly billed as a 20–40% premium over the equivalent SEO retainer. LLM Pulse itself claims agencies using its platform "are adding $500 to $2,000/month per client for AEO services". The standard white-label fulfilment model marks services 2–3× before presenting them; the software mouth is small, the price you set is yours, and the margin lives in positioning and delivery — not in the $99 line.

Where Sonarvue fits

If your deliverable is monitoring alone, pick the deepest rebrand you can afford. If your deliverable is the work — the technical fixes, the content that earns citations, the verifiable change in the answer — you need evidence and approval around every client action, and the software name on the login page matters less than whether the client’s own prompts confirm your report.

Sonarvue is built for that second model: find the gap, ship the approved work, and re-probe the same buyer prompt to verify the answer moved, with one workspace per client brand. Agencies running it start with one client and a 7-day trial (Starter $99/mo, no card); more than three brands goes to our Custom tier. And when a real white-label layer ships here, this page will say so within a day.

White-label AI SEO FAQ

Can agencies white-label Sonarvue?

Not as a full rebrand, and we say so directly. Sonarvue offers agencies separate workspaces per client brand with multi-brand reporting, a shared approval trail, and client-ready evidence — but the portal, sign-in, and account emails stay on sonarvue.com. If you need your own domain and fully rebranded emails today, LLM Pulse’s Enterprise tier is the current option in the category.

What is white-label AI SEO software?

Software that tracks how AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google’s AI answers — present a brand, and that an agency can present to clients under its own brand: own domain where possible, own logo and colours on reports, own client pricing. It is the AI-era version of white-label SEO reporting.

What do agencies rebrand: domain, logo, reports, or price?

All four, in order of difficulty: the logo on reports is the easy layer; custom reports and dashboards next; your own domain on the portal is the line that separates partial from full white label; and your own pricing is a programme term, not a feature. The most requested surfaces are the domain, the report branding, and the sender address on client-facing email.

What breaks client trust in a white-labeled tool?

The recurring leaks: the vendor’s "powered by" footer in a client report, vendor branding on the login page and in the emails clients receive, client data mixing across shared spaces, and overstated branding ("complete white labeling" that still shows provider logos on a client portal). The deeper risk runs the other way — a client runs their own prompt in ChatGPT and checks the story.

Which AI visibility tools offer full white-label today?

On the strength of each vendor’s own pages: LLM Pulse offers the deepest programme (branded subdomain, full white label on your own domain, embedded dashboards, sold via conversation); Otterly covers the report layer through Looker Studio brands; Scrunch offers an API-first route to "fully white-label outputs" for teams that will build; Peec, Profound, and AthenaHQ publish no full white-label offering. Verify each before you buy — this space changes monthly.

How much do agencies charge clients for AI visibility work?

Published ranges put AEO/GEO retainers between about $2,000 and $10,000 per month for most B2B engagements, with the monitoring software itself a $20–$500/mo line item. The tools’ own marketing claims agencies add $500–$2,000 per client for AI visibility as an add-on. You set your own client price as a white-label reseller; the standard fulfilment model marks services 2–3×.

What does Sonarvue cost for agencies?

Starter is $99/mo: 100 tracked buyer prompts, up to three client brands, six members, Google Search Console, multi-brand reporting, and a shared evidence and approval trail, with ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google tracked on every paid plan. Growth ($249/mo) adds agent-led delivery: technical SEO, content, and authority work shipped with approval and verified by re-probe. More than three brands, SSO, or API go to the Custom tier, priced in one reply — no sales call.
